How do I create a guest card?
Open the app and fill in the required fields (marked with red asterisks): Agent information, Occupant information, and Location details. Once all required fields are complete, tap "Generate and preview" to create your PDF.
How do I send a guest card via email?
After filling in all information, tap "Email guest card". Choose from three options:
- Apple Mail: Opens native iOS mail composer (works with any email account configured on your device)
- Gmail: Sends directly via Gmail API (requires Google Sign-In)
- Other Apps: Share via any email app installed on your device
Do I need to sign in with Google?
No! Google Sign-In is optional. It's only needed if you want to send emails directly through Gmail using the Gmail API. You can use Apple Mail or other email apps without signing in with Google.
How do I add my company logo?
In the "Logo" section, tap "Choose Logo (optional)" and select an image from your photo library. Your logo will appear on the left side of generated PDFs.
How do I add a profile photo?
In the "Profile Photo" section, tap "Choose Profile Photo (optional)" and select an image. Toggle "Include in PDF" to show your photo on the right side of the PDF (opposite the logo).
How do I save locations to my address book?
When entering a location manually, toggle "Save to Address Book" before creating the guest card. The location will be saved and available in the "Select Apartment" dropdown for future use.
How do I manage my saved locations?
Switch to the "Address Book" tab at the bottom of the app. There you can view all saved locations and delete ones you no longer need.
What are the required fields?
Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required:
- Agent Name
- Agent Phone
- Agent Email
- Occupant Name
- Location (Apartment)
- Location Email
The "Generate and preview" and "Email guest card" buttons will be grayed out until all required fields are filled in.
What is the 7-day free trial?
New subscribers get 7 days of free access to all Guest Card Pro features. You won't be charged during the trial. Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription:
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap your Apple ID at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Select "Guest Card Pro"
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
How do I switch between email accounts in Apple Mail?
When the mail composer opens, tap the "From:" field at the top. A menu will appear showing all email accounts configured on your device. Select the account you want to use.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
No. All your data is stored locally on your device. We don't have access to your information and don't store anything on our servers. Your privacy is our priority.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete data in several ways:
- Sign out of Google: Removes your Google OAuth token
- Remove logos/photos: Tap the "Remove" buttons in the respective sections
- Clear address book: Delete locations in the Address Book tab
- Delete the app: Removes all data from your device
Why did I get "Error 403: Access Denied" when signing in with Google?
This means the app needs to add you as a test user. Contact our support team at support@locatorhub.app with your Gmail address, and we'll add you to the authorized test users list.
Can I use Guest Card on multiple devices?
Yes! Download the app on any iOS device with the same Apple ID. Note that data is stored locally on each device and won't automatically sync between devices.
What iOS version do I need?
Guest Card requires iOS 15.0 or later.

Troubleshooting
The email preview shows a blank page
This can happen if the PDF is still being generated. Try:
- Close the blank sheet
- Wait a moment
- Tap "Email guest card" again
If the issue persists, try filling in the "Pet Info" field (even with "None") and retry.
My phone number isn't formatting correctly
The app automatically formats phone numbers to XXX-XXX-XXXX format. Enter only the 10 digits (no dashes or spaces). If you paste a number with a country code (+1), the app will automatically use the last 10 digits.
The buttons are grayed out and I can't click them
The "Generate and preview" and "Email guest card" buttons are disabled until all required fields (marked with red asterisks) are filled in. Check that you've entered:
- Agent Name, Phone, and Email
- Occupant Name
- Location and Location Email
The app crashed or froze
Try these steps:
- Force close the app (swipe up from the bottom and swipe the app away)
- Restart the app
- If the issue persists, restart your iPhone
- If still having issues, try deleting and reinstalling the app (note: this will delete local data)
Google Sign-In isn't working
Make sure you:
- Have a stable internet connection
- Are using the correct Google account
- Have granted necessary permissions when prompted
If you see "Access Denied" errors, contact support to be added as a test user.
